Christopher Columbus famously stopped over at Gran Canaria, en route to sailing off the map of the known world in search of the New World. Now you can too! Stop over in Gran Canaria for a photography adventure.
Scented pine forests, haunting volcanoes, lunar-like landscapes, secret coves, Sahara-style dunes, beaches – the beautiful, unique Canary Islands wear many tantalising hats. The Canary Islands' near-perfect temperatures mean that, year-round, you can soak up fantastical, varied landscapes otherwise only found by crossing continents.
Gran Canaria offers more scenic diversity than any of the other islands. There are the epic sands of Maspalomas in the south, the subtropical forests of the interior, rugged mountains and architecture gems to see.
The island also produces decent wine and an excellent tropical lager – perfect way to end a day of photography!
Like almost everyone else, COVID19 has certainly be challenging for me. In view of the ever changing conditions, this photo workshop is tentatively planned to take place with flexible booking conditions.
This will depend on latest governmental regulations and as well as local conditions.
Hygiene measures are in place. Your health and safety are my top priorities.
Your first time to Gran Canary? Or you would like a face to face discussion or have any questions before committing yourself? Lots of COVID19 related questions? Great! I'll love to answer them!
A 45 minute Gran Canaria info evening will be organised on Friday 4th March 2022. Join the information evening by filling in the contact form below. You can also use zoom to join in if you re not residing in Belgium.
The only photography workshop tour that gives you full control and flexibility by providing the great workshops, and tours which include transport and like-minded photography travel pals. You just book your flights to get there. Then book the hotels of your choice where we will be travelling through, or use my recommendations.
Don't forget, you are also on holidays and may want some time for yourself. Apart from the workshops where we work and travel together, there is sufficient rest & recreation time included for your own thing. Or if you prefer, hang out with me for meals, drinks and company. Whatever you decide, is cool for me! Unlike the other tours I have organised, you will be spending a lot more time as a group so it is important that the 'right profile'
participant joins us.
